We worked more today on customary units of measurement. The students converted measurements and chose which units would be appropriate to use for different items. In Writing, the students went back through their stories to try to add more adjectives and descriptive sentences. In Science, we talked about vertebrates, invertebrates, cold-blooded animals, and warm-blooded animals. We discussed how vertebrae make up our backbone and give us flexibility and support.
A note is coming home today about our field trip to McNary Dam. Fill out and have your child return the bottom part of the note if you are interested and able to drive! Thanks!
