This week, the students' desks are in groups, and we discussed what cooperation looks and sounds like. In Math, we worked more on multiplying by four. Students should be practicing each day at home! This week, the spelling words are homophones, so we discussed what those are and came up with more examples. I read aloud a couple books called I Wanna Iquana and Hey Little Ant, which do a great job showing how to be persuasive. The students will be writing persuasive letters and finishing up their how-to paragraphs this week.
